Crypto Stocks are ERC20 tokens that operate on the Ethereum blockchain, so after purchasing them they can be transferred to a wallet such as MetaMask.
The procedure is simple.
If you already have MetaMask, all that is required is to download the app on your device or the desktop extension and enter your credentials.
If you’re new to MetaMask, besides downloading the app, you’ll need to set your username and password and make a note of the seed phrase, the 12-word sequence needed to restore your wallet.
Crypto Stocks can currently only be purchased on AnyCryptoStock. Once you have made the purchase, simply go to the Balance section of AnyCryptoStock, select withdraw next to the stock you want to transfer and paste the MetaMask address.
But first, it is necessary to configure MetaMask.
Configuring MetaMask to store USxD and Crypto Stocks
Crypto Stocks are currently “custom tokens”, so you have to create a space, so to speak, for MetaMask to store them. To do this, you need to go to the appropriate section and paste the contract address.
Once configured, the section to deposit the chosen Crypto Stock will appear in the MetaMask home page.
At this point, you need to copy the address of the MetaMask wallet and go back to the Balance section of AnyCryptoStock and select Withdraw for the stock you want to transfer.
A window will open where you can:
Paste the MetaMask address;
Enter the quantity to be transferred;
Confirm.
Once the confirmation process is done, the transaction will initiate, which may take some time depending on the congestion of the Ethereum network.
At the end of the transaction, the Crypto Stocks will be available on MetaMask. To resend them back to the exchange, simply click Send on the chosen Crypto Stock and enter the corresponding exchange deposit address, being careful not to mix up the addresses.
In the Crypto Stock Wallet section you will find a list of wallets that support the ERC20 standard and are therefore compatible with Crypto Stocks and USxD.
